REMS- Level II
REMS-Level II is an advanced 40-hour program designed for rescue professionals who have completed REMS-Level I and want to elevate their skills in expedient, lightweight rope rescue systems. This course is tailored for rope rescue technicians, focusing on complex, real-world scenarios that demand efficiency, precision, and adaptability in austere environments.
Participants will advance their expertise in vehicle-based rope extrication, land navigation, and Prolonged Field Care (PFC) concepts, integrating these skills with vertical casualty management and rope systems. Medical simulations featuring vertical rescue and high-angle casualty care are a core component of this course, culminating in an 8–12 hour full-scale exercise designed to test both technical and operational capabilities.
Whether for firefighters, tactical rope units, or small rescue teams, REMS-Level II bridges the gap between foundational training and high-level operational performance.
