REMS Level I SAN DIEGO!

What We Offer

Standardized 40 hour training courses that can take a beginner rope rescue technician and make them ready for fire season! The standard Level I & II courses use NFPA 1006 JPRs as the blueprint, but are approached with a light weight, austere vertical rescue approach. The new Type III RATS course will focus on rapid insertion, point of injury care, land navigation, communications, and extraction PACE planning.

  • The foundational program of instruction that covers NFPA 1006 JPRs for RRT with a focus on austere light-weight rescue. Allow us to bring our gear and ropes and show you the dark side of off label rope rescue that makes the other guys squirm. Tired of carrying 60lbs bags? start here.

  • A follow-on course after the Level I (pre-req), this course builds on the light - fast modality and adds in other modules of instruction for working REMS teams. These can include AutoX, Point of Injury medical care as it transitions into Prolong Field Care phase (protracted extraction casualty care), Helo Ops Interface, waterborne operations, and more in-depth vertical access training.

  • Focus on a two-person rapid access team. Land navigation, light weight vertical access, casualty medical management, communications, and extraction PACE planning are the focus JPRs in this course.

  • Need a team assessment, preseason spin up, instructor development, or any other type of REMS focus training that isn’t clearly defined above? Hit us up- fully custom coursework is always available.
